Meet Dr. Joel Rudman

Dr. Joel Rudman resides in Navarre, Florida, with his wife, Sophie, and their two children. Together, they are proud members of a community rooted in values of faith, family, and service. Dr. Rudman has dedicated his life to serving others, both as a medical professional and as a public servant.

Now in his second term in the Florida State House, Dr. Rudman represents the hardworking people of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties. His tenure in office has been marked by a steadfast commitment to protecting individual freedoms, defending constitutional rights, and putting America First.

Dr. Rudman gained national recognition for his courageous stance during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a vocal advocate against overreach, he challenged the state’s medical licensing board over the imposition of mask mandates. His efforts resulted in a significant victory, reinforcing the principle of personal choice in healthcare decisions.

Dr. Rudman is unapologetically pro-life, deeply believing in the sanctity of human life. He is a firm supporter of the Second Amendment, advocating for the rights of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families. Guided by an America First philosophy, Dr. Rudman prioritizes policies that strengthen local communities, support small businesses, and ensure that Florida remains a beacon of opportunity and freedom.

Outside the State House, Dr. Rudman continues his work in medicine, offering compassionate care to his patients. His dual roles as a physician and legislator reflect his lifelong mission to improve the lives of others, whether through health care or public policy.

As a devoted husband, father, and public servant, Dr. Rudman embodies the values of integrity, perseverance, and service. He is honored to represent the people of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties and remains committed to fighting for the freedoms and principles that make Florida and America great.

Rudman was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022. He ran for office after being accused by the American Board of Family Medicine of “denigrating (their) vaccine efforts”.
